What We Need From You

To order a Cartoon Portrait you'll need to supply us with 3 things:

(1) A Photograph

You'll need to supply a good, clear photograph of your "victim"'s face.

The body matters less - we'll draw a cartoony one.

A full or almost full face shot is best and the photo needs to be well focussed and close enough to clearly see the facial features.

We particularly need to see clear details of the:

  • Eyes (including eyebrows)
  • Mouth (shape of the lips and teeth)
  • Hair style
This photo has been taken from too far away and we can't see any details of the man's face.
This seems better but the man's hand covering his chin makes it difficult to know what to draw.

This is what we want.

We can clearly see all his face.

No part of the face or head should be covered.
YOU know what the person looks like but we don't - and we'd rather NOT guess.

It's okay for someone else to be in the picture, so long as we can still see your "victim" properly.

If your "victim" is wearing glasses, shades or a hat in your photo, they will be in your finished cartoon, too.

If you want us to include something specific (like a uniform) we will need an extra photo showing what it looks like.

Whilst we'll always try our very best, your finished cartoon
can only be as good as your photo will allow.
